Mood:  hug me
Topic: just for fun

dearest blog.. im back.. :D

Its been a while since my last entry.  Many things happened, and mostly its fun.. Yippie ;D One of the reason is :  i am so happy to know that Hiro Nakamura is graduated from tohoku university. He mentioned it in episode 20!!! yay!! ( ps : Tohoku is the university i attend now :D  ). Speaking about heroes, i think heroes episode 21 wasnt as good as episode 20, but partially because in previous episode many mysteries lies beneath are solved.  Anyway, heroes rocks!! many of my friends are get addicted to these series, not only here while im in japan, but also some friends of mine in indonesia. Because Heroes is so awesome!!! Heroes rocks!!

last part of journey to kyoto
Mood:  don't ask
Topic: just for fun

My trip to tokyo still continued....

I went to kiyomizudera, kodaiji, walking along Gion, and take a brief look at Yasaka Shrine.

Kiyomizudera is by far the most elegant temple ive ever seen. IT was extremely huge!! And its giant terrace give a wonderful view from the top. ITs also famous for its love legend. There is 2 big stone, separated from each other in one linear line in a distance of 20 feets. The legend said that if u can walk from one stone to another with ur eyes closed, then ur love will last forever. Unfortunately, i didnt know this story until i get back to sendai and have a chat with my friend.

Kodaiji, i should admit, is the number one for me! i went ther at night, and it just so amazing!! The light just make the temple much beautiful.. Especially when i am in the bamboo forest and standing near the lake. I felt like im in the dreamland..

The journey to kyoto was closed by walking along Gion and take  a brief look at yasaka shrine. ITs kinda ok , but i am too tired that time..  so all i think about is just go to bed... :D

still in kyoto : the sanjusangendo, kyoto museum, and toji temple
Mood:  bright
Topic: just for fun

well.. still in kyoto journee..

After visited the nijo castle, i went to Toji temple. Toji is the highest pagoda in Japan. Approximately 57 metres in high. Then, i went to sanjusangendo.

One of my favorite place in kyoto is sanjusangendo. Also known as the 1001 kanon statues. Sanjusangendo has a huge collection of kanon statues, each with different expression that people said `u will find at least one of the kannon that similar to ur face`. This 1001 statues are guarded by several god, one of them are Garuda, the giant bird which also become the symbol of my beloved country, Indonesia.

The statues are amazingly beautiful. Very well crafted!! And its spread along the hall which xan be divided into 33 column. From this, the name of sanjusangendo are derived ( sanjusan = 33 ).

Next to the sanjusangendo is the kyoto museum. ITs kinda cheap to enter and they have some interesting things to see, such as huge collection of hina matsuri dolls, varied from its style, clothes, and also size.

game party!!
Mood:  energetic
Topic: just for fun

saturday nite, always mean party! this rule is applied everywhere, including my new dorm. Theres actually 2 party, held at the same time. First is the dance party, and the second one, is the gamers party, where i also took part. Eventhough i should admit that im not real gamer. I love game, but i just play it randomly, and whenever i feel like to.

the gamers party started at 20.00 in the student hall, where the big HD screen tv located that makes the game more fun three times!! u know what i mean rite?

We played wii and using laptop too. Some of the game that we play are bleach, mario, shooting game, and many more.

IT was really really fun. At first, its only attended by 6 or 7 people ( kevin, eddy, simasu (adviser), ogawa, wei, nie, and me) but later its extended into many people, including reb, nana, john, gerardo, albert, keith, jasmine, and ayaka.  But, unfortunately, at 2300 we have to lock the student hall ( coz that whats the rule is ), so we move to my floor.

While we were moving, everyone grab everything left in the student hall. LAter, we found out that one of the bag, with japanese electronic dictionary, cell phone, and wallet, and many important stuff inside it, wasnt belong to anyone of us. We were asking: `god, who has this?? ` . and finally we found out that it was belong to one of our dormitory`s  adviser!! LOL

and the games continued.. until 4.30 a.m. :D LOL

i just hope we didnt wake up anyone that time. Coz, u know, game, and adding some people into account, thats means : loud of laugh , joy, and loud of fun :D

day 3 : osaka in the morning
Mood:  celebratory
Now Playing: mint royale and lauren laverne
Topic: just for fun

day 3. The mission goes on. Case project : discovering Osaka.

To discover osaka, i started my journey early in the morning, around 9. Actually, among all the cities i visit during my trip, i like osaka most. There several reason for that. First, osaka has many tourist attraction, starting from  port, universal studion, skyscrappers building, park, castle, and several nice museum. Moreover, they have osaka 1 day pass, which only cost you 2000 yen, but, u can use all bus line, subway and tram line within 1 day, as far as u like. Plus, u also gonna have free entry ticket to 20 osaka major attractions!! including osaka castle, tennoji park, many museum, discount for osaka aquarium, and many places. Third, i love osaka because their food just so awesome, and also so cheap!!

So, yeah, i started my third day by visiting osaka museum of history. Which is pretty nice. U can see interior building of naniwa imperial palace, experiencing the market in edo era, and also some interesting stuffs they have there.  After that, i went to osaka castle.

Osaka castle, in the exterior site, wasnt as great as himeji castle ( well, u know, himeji is the best castle in japan ), but.. they have great collection of samurai armor!!  complete!! started from various types of hat, iron clothes, sword, and all the samurai equipment!! its really interesting!! And, u also can see osaka from above, 360 degrees around on the top floor of the castle. Btw, when you visit this castle, u also can see the former museum building, in very beautiful european style, and also u may can spot some enjoyable entertainment for free. Starting from juggling, guitar, and even professional musician, like group Everly which i saw performing their ability in playing beethoven concerto! Everly is a Quartet of young japanese violist and cello player. They even have their own album!!
